Panasonic PBX-TD 500
Flexible Systems for an Active, Growing Business
Panasonic offers advanced technology with 512-port fully digital PBX for your business needs. The Panasonic Digital Super Hybrid System is a link to help your company enhance communications while cutting down on costs. Digital-based technology is the concept which lies behind this flexible, cost effective system. Being a digital system, the KX-TD500 is able to take advantage of emerging digital technologies and offers flexibility for future connections. Modular Configurations Expansion in Three Shelves The KX-TD500 System is like a building block - the modular design allows expansion from 8 telephones and 8 CO lines to as many as 448 extensions and 192 CO lines by adding expansion cards (512 ports maximum). The system can be installed in a one, two, or three shelf configuration, providing economical expansion from 192 ports (1 shelf), to 414 ports (2 shelves), or 512 ports (3 shelves).
Super Hybrid System
An effective telephone system must be flexible and future-ready. Our system accepts a wide range of communication equipment and proprietary telephones. Every Super Hybrid extension port can accommodate digital and analogue proprietary telephones as well as regular telephone devices (fax, cordless phone, answering machine, etc.). These connections require no additional cards or additional wiring. If you have proprietary telephones from an earlier KX-T series PBX, they will work with the KX-TD500 System without having to change the cables.
PBX Networking
You can connect several KX-TD500 Systems to make the PBX network function as a single Call Management System via E&M and T1/E1 lines. PBX networking offers you various useful functions, especially in a business environment. It makes it easier for staff to dial an extension located at a branch or head office, saving time and money.
ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network)*
ISDN provides your business with a wide range of benefits for voice and data communications. Some of the biggest benefits of ISDN are in the way that incoming calls are handled. Services like DDI (Direct Dialling In) and CLIP (Calling Line Identification
Presentation) allow users to call extensions directly. This can reduce the demand on an operator or receptionist, who can perform other duties instead.
eXtra Device Port (XDP)
Every digital telephone comes with a built-in “eXtra Device Port”, enabling you to connect any single-line device to the digital phone. XDP instantly provides you with a separate extension, so you can double your extension capability and use both communication devices simultaneously. You can fax a document while talking on the telephone. You can
have a phone conversation while transferring a data file from your PC to another PC. No special adaptors and no costly rewiring are required! XDP gives your communications speed, flexibility and mobility to help you run your business more efficiently.
